Our Services
Outpatient Therapy Services
SBFS outpatient services are provided and include a range of services to clients based on their needs regarding emotional, social, and behavioral concerns. At SBFS, we offer individual, group, family therapy, and case management and crisis
intervention services. Clients can receive services in the office, home, school, or other settings
confidential in nature and agreed upon by the client and/or their parent(s)/guardian(s).
Individual Therapy
The process through which individuals work one-on-one with a trained clinician—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change to better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.
Family Therapy
A branch of therapy that works with families and couples in relationships to nurture change and development. It tends to view change in terms of the systems of interaction between family members. It emphasizes family relationships as an important factor in psychological health.
Group Therapy
A form of psychosocial treatment where a small group of clients meet regularly to talk, interact, and discuss concerns with each other and the group leader (therapist).
Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services
A form of remedial services which are necessary to improve the member's ability to function in the community. They are performed to improve the skills and abilities of members to live interdependently in the community, improve self-care and social skills, and promote lifestyle change and recovery practices. This service is generally performed with only the members but may include a member and the member's family/support system group that focuses on the member's diagnosis, management, and recovery based curriculum.
Case Management
A collaborative process that assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the options and services required to meet the client's health and human service needs. It is characterized by advocacy, communication, and resource management and promotes quality and cost-effective interventions and outcomes.
